PRESENT:

Through the years after pro basketball, experiencing corporate life and the entertainment industry, Orms now sees the world of sports as a metaphorical microcosm, revealing insights and truths that are present in our everyday lives and inherent in many religions. “Within this arena,” Orms says, “we are witness to the universal human drive to transcend, exalt and connect with the Divine. More and more the great athletes are seen as human gods in the minds of their fans.”

The updated version of BonesBall takes up these game of life challenges and the perceived rewards through the character of Charlie Soul. Charlie, now eight years out of the pro game, but still seeking a miraculous comeback, plays out these conflicts at a“life reclamation community center”. However,  his biggest challenge now is finding true love while fighting Bronos, the invisible god of time.
