PAST:

BonesBall is a joyously thought provoking hit musical experience from back in the day that captivated audiences and generated sold out performances in New York City as an off-Broadway showcase. The production had to set up TV monitors in the lobby so the crowds who couldn’t get seats could at least see the show and say, “I was there.”

Originally entitled “Bones” and written by Barry Orms with music by Genovis Albright, the show was produced by basketball legend Earl “The Pearl” Monroe and Orms, former NBA teammates and still friends to this day.

BonesBall was inspired by Orms’ personal experiences as an NBA player witnessing the emotional, psychological and physical turmoil that professional players endure behind closed doors as a result of the pressure to win.

From the start the idea was to encourage a rethinking of our beliefs about what feels like winning versus losing on and off our mental and physical battlefields.
